Reading teaching, as an important part of Chinese teaching, has always been valued by all the teachers. It is not only an important method and approach of realizing Chinese teaching, but also the best choice of realizing the purpose of educating a person. As it is pointed out in Regular Senior Secondary School Chinese Course Standard, we should primarily advocate an independent, cooperative and investigative way of studying. Because of this, it is quite necessary to introduce inquiry into Chinese reading teaching, and combine it with traditional teaching method, so as to develop a new inquiry-reading teaching method.On one hand, the most significant feature of inquiry class is that after teachers or students raise any questions, students can acquire knowledge, understand concepts and theories and solve problems by themselves through deploring, thinking, operating, and looking up materials independently;On the other hand, we have to admit that there are many disturbing problems existing in Chinese inquiry-reading class. Teaching is gradually becoming from teachers doing all the talking to teachers always asking questions. The former is teacher-centered. The latter is awkward because the only purpose is to ask questions and the whole class seems wonderful but it means nothing. All Chinese educators continuously try to make some reform and renovation to Chinese inquiry-reading teaching.At the same time, according to current Chinese reading teaching situation, the author also conducted some thinking and summaries on this topic, formed some opinions and understandings and put forward some implementation strategies, which is based on learning from some predecessors researching results. And the author hopes can provide some instructive enlightenment to senior secondary school Chinese inquiry-reading teaching.This essay includes three parts. The first part is the introduction. The second part of the high school language reading teaching present situation has carried on the investigation and research.Found some achievements, but also to identify the problems, and analyzes the reasons for the existence of the problem.And based on all the above problems, the last part puts forward reformational strategies.
