As a result, it has gained popularity very rapidly. Since the"Photogaphy" course is in early development phase, it is mainly based on traditional classroom education and still has several issues. In order to improve the effectiveness of learning, it is necessary to design and develop web based education modules for this course based on its own requirements. In order to address the problems in current education, this research work focused on the design of teaching content, activities, and assessment for the "Photography" course based on the analysis of education requirements. First, it designed teaching units and used them to analyze and select the teaching content. Appropriate media delivery mode is chosen based on the specific teaching questions and their characteristics. Second, it designed teaching activities such as photography week-contest and topic discussion which increased the students' learning motivation, improved communication between students and teachers and enhanced the students' capability for art appreciation. Third, it developed functional modules including photography lab and photography appreciation based on system design. This helps to solve the issue of resource limitation in traditional education.
