A Utilize Study On Pygmalion Effect Of Idea Education In Middle Schools

The origin of Pygmalion effects comes from an Ancient Greek Legend that a prince named Pygmalion created a sculpture of a perfect woman out of ivory and fell in love with her. He loved her so much that he prayed everyday hoping that God would make her come to life. This dream came true finally. This legend evolved into the famous Psychological Effects. People called it Pygmalion effect. It seeks to tell us: one's sincere appreciation and expectancy will greatly enhance another's self confidence, motivate him to pursuit his goals and go forward.Due to the role of Pygmalion effects playing in education and teaching, more and more scholars begin to study it. They not only do research from the theoretical level, but also discuss with a practical level. We found that Pygmalion effects widely exist in the field of education and teaching and it can play a positive role in promoting. It can enhance the feelings between teachers and students and help students build up self confidence. Once a student is full of confidence, he will try his best to make progress.As an educator and researcher in Ideological education, in order to better carry out the work, it is necessary for us to understand Pygmalion effects. Only if we master it well can we use it effectively. Through the effect produced by a role in helping rebuild the confidence of students to tap their own potential and move forward to fulfill their goals.Thus, in this thesis I will try to discuss the Pygmalion effects and its role in Ideological Education in Middle Schools. Based on the comprehensive use of education and psychology research methods, first, I will talk about the source of effects and make a detail of it. Then, I will discuss the role of effects with Ideological Education. Finally, I will talk about six important points during the practical application. Through this thesis, I will try my best to discuss the Pygmalion effects more detailed. I hope I can provide a new thinking for Ideological Education in Middle School, and provide a new educational philosophy for our teachers.
