The knowledge of element compounds as the backbone for Chemistry is closely associated with concepts,theory,experiment and computer. What's more, it plays an important role of the carrier in respect of premises in NCEE. However, some teachers in classroom teaching still adopt the convention examination-oriented education, that is, they overstress the role of teachers and let the students remain in a passive state for long periods, which results in an inefficient review. Concept maps teaching strategies can not only promote the students meaningful learning cooperative learning and creativity learning, but also be effective in changing cognitive styles, and help students build up integration, structured knowledge, so as to improve teaching effect. This study is to adopt the concept maps teaching strategies to resolve this issue and to undertake empirical research.This study is from the actual teaching aspects, under the guidance of meaningful learning theory and cognitive theory, and adopts teaching strategies using concept maps for high school seniors to review knowledge of chemical elements and compounds for empirical research on their effectiveness. Do the experiment prior twice before logging, and then separately adopt it in the metals and their compounds and non-metallic compounds, both concept maps teaching strategies. Experiment is carried out when the effect of teaching concept map and questionnaire twice after logging. The final analysis conclusion: strategies for teaching concept map to an element or a compound of review has the better effect. Especially for the students who have better basic knowledge, they'll improve their scores in a short time and they can use them in a flexible way. But for the students who lack strong basis, they may find it a little hander. They can also have the passion for owning their own works and increasing their study interest. However there may exist some phenomena including consuming too much time or having low efficiency. We need to strengthen the habit and insist so that we can get a great benefit for learning.
