According to the high school chemistry curriculum standard,students must construct chemical basic conception through learning process of textbook chemistry1.In PEP chemistry textbooks,element compounds are arranged ahead of periodic law of element.Without the knowledge of periodic law,chemical basic conception plays a more important role in teaching element compounds.The paper mainly analyses the theoretical connotation of chemical basic conception,finds out specific knowledge,carrying the conception.The author focuses on the analysis of chemistry curriculum,textbooks and students' learning situation,develops teaching design and studies the influence that the concept has on students.Teaching effect is tested in practice research.The author makes summation and reflection based on research.This experiment is designed as experiment group-control group and front-back test.The author set pro-test questions according to the two-way checklist of element compounds.Based on the pro-test,the author analyzes students learning problems,and demonstrates teaching program on element compounds on the basis of constructing chemical basic concepts.According to the analysis of pro-test,the author develops practical teaching design and carry it out in experiment group.The post-test is mainly designed to put chemical basic concepts into practice in teaching design.Research shows the teaching based on constructing chemical basic concepts can promote learners master knowledge,contribute to improving students' thinking ability and chemical academic record.In conclusion,teaching design strategies on constructing chemical basic concepts are as follows:(1)Determine the teaching objective,design motivated questions,guide students to explore and study and construct chemical basic concepts;(2)Create the situation to help improve students' thinking ability;(3)Begin with life experience lead students to know the material property and use.Gradually understand chemical basic concepts.Focus on the history of chemistry and experience the importance and difficulties of chemical research;(4)From the parts to the whole,from the whole to the parts,views of chemical element,concepts of particles and the view of classification make concept of transformation;(5)Use life instance from the students side.Combine students prior knowledge with life experience to introduce new knowledge;(6)Class discussion and self-study are used to construct chemical basic concepts.
