As an important part of chemistry in senior high school,knowledge related to elemental compounds plays certain important role in exploring the properties of substances and realizing the transformation between different compounds.By the methods of literature research,case studies,and statistical analysis,the teaching status of the application of mind maps in elemental compounds was investigated,and the helpful role of mind maps in the teaching of elemental compounds as well as the teaching application and teaching process design of mind maps were also analyzed in this study.In addition,the teaching practice research was carried out in the teaching of element compound,and the feasibility and effectiveness of the application of mind maps in the teaching of chemical elementary compound knowledge in senior high school were explored through the experimental research,and the experimental results were summarized and analyzed,and some reference suggestions for the application of mind map in the teaching of element compounds were put forward.
