To learn the scientific methods and the roles of making model in research, and to foster students'making-model mind and ability, are indirected in curriculum criterion of senior high school. The knowledge of models is one of the curriculum objectives, which illustrates the times developing need to value students'scientific methods. Models method is a significant approach in present biology science research, and model practises are strengthened in senior high school textbooks. At present, the researches are limited in model teaching implement and solving questions, but using biological models in developing curriculum resources is minority. At first, by referring and analyzing the relative theories on biological models and curriculum resources development at home and abroad, this thesis clarify the relationship of biological models and curriculum resources development, the request of developing curriculum resources in new curruculum criterion, and the ability to make model. Next, ananlyzing the theories of learning, mind construction, intention study, interest and motivation and intellect processing psychology, theoretical basis of value are initially approached by developing curriculum resources and fostering making-model mind. Then, biological models are difined and classified, combined of its feature, the author brought the value on how to use biological models to develop curriculum resources. Interview and questionnaire are designed to investigate the present situation of teachers'using biological models at senior high school in China, analyzing the main problem on how to make and use model by biological normal students. The interview and questionnaire includes two aspects: first, it strengthens the teachers'awareness of using model method to develop curriculum resources at senior high school; second, it fosters the ability to make model by biological normal students. At the same time, it analyzes the typical teaching example of using biological models to develop curriculum resources. In conclusion,through different aspcets to analyze the value of using biological models in curriculum resource development, the author brought suggestion and solution.
