Information science and technology is one of the basic courses, which integrates the necessary knowledge, skills and instruments. The goal of the course is to form and improve students' information literacy, including the necessary knowledge and skills of information technology and problem-solving ability. Under the guidance of 2nd-stage Curriculum Reform, quite a number of teachers of information science and technology probe to carry out project-based learning in their teaching practice, aiming at promoting students' processing skills and improving their information literacy.Project-based learning, with the feature of being comprehensive and open, is a process of self-exploration. However, it is necessary for teachers to provide students with a wide range of learning support when carrying out project-based learning. In order to solve the problem of insufficient information learning platform in project-based learning, the author explores through the design and practices in project-based learning of information science and technology. The study goes through three stages.I. Survey stageThe author finds out what learning support students really need in project-based learning through document analysis. The strengths and weaknesses in current learning platform are analyzed.II. Designing and developing stageAccording to the features of project-based learning and the need of students, the author designs and develops the learning platform which provides support in various aspects for project-based learning.III. Practice stageThe author applies the learning platform into real teaching situations to test its effects, which are analyzed and evaluated in the thesis. The effective strategies of project-based learning platform and the outlook of the direction of the learning platform are explored.
