| The relationship between teachers and students is the most basic and fundamental social relationship in school life, which includes abundant contents in terms of sociology, ethics, education and psychology. Well-going relationship between teachers and students not only contributes to smooth process of teaching and learning, but also does good to students' self-development and the construction of campus culture. Therefore, the relationship between teachers and students has long been a main concern in the theory and practice of education as well as the world educational reform.High school Chinese language teaching takes students with active thinking abilities as objects, to whom it imparts the texts which are literary and meaningful. To some extent, the process of teaching is a course in which students and teachers exchange their ideas and thoughts and communicate with each other. Actually, the teaching process would not go on smoothly without a harmonious teacher-student relationship. At the same time, the characteristics of this subject also enable Chinese language teachers to give students an all-around cultivation, which means that during the teaching process, teachers not only can impart the fundamental knowledge of the Chinese language to students and develop their basic skills, but also can edify students' sentiment and consummate their personality which all in turn contribute to building up an intimate and harmonious teacher-student relationship. With the working experience of Chinese teaching in high school for over ten years, I am concerned about the deep influence of teacher-student relationship on the Chinese language teaching. As a matter of fact, relative studies at home and abroad are focused on researching teacher-student relationship from the macroscopical angle of education, which does not have a close connection with practical language teaching. Therefore, this study was conducted to make further research on teacher-student relationship combined with the practical Chinese language teaching. The three chapters of this thesis are as follows:Chapter One first makes an overall introduction of previous studies of teacher-student relationship at home and abroad, followed by dialectical analysis of the connection between teacher-student relationship and high school Chinese language teaching, and thus confirms the positive influence which teacher-student relationship has on practical language teaching.Chapter Two analyses the present situation of teacher-student relationship in high school Chinese language teaching in the three aspects of teachers, students and teacher-student relationship, and then explores the causes of the problems from the following three angles: family, school and society, which provides realistic foundation for the solutions below.Chapter Three compares and analyses the characteristics of teacher-student relationship in different models and summarizes the features required in a harmonious teacher-student relationship in high school Chinese language teaching. Furthermore, methods of making up a harmonious teacher-student relationship are also discussed on the basis of every element, step and link of high school Chinese language teaching. |
