During the process of teacher's instruction evaluation, the students' evaluation is an important component. However, the actual result of the evaluation is unpromising. Nowadays the students' evaluation is widely used in colleges and universities,which usually carries out at the end of the semester. Its chief objective is to distinguish and grade the teachers' teaching level. In addition, their grades are regarded as the important basis of teachers' professional post, promotion and rewards. In fact, it doesn't play the role in impelling teachers to improve the quality of teaching. Even if the students fact it, their attitudes is passive and perfunctory. As an important component of teaching evaluation, students' evaluation is not only to obtain some fixed conclusions, the most important point is to discover the problems appeared in the process of the teachers' instruction so as to take corrective measures, improve the quality of teaching and make common progress between teachers and students. The research is aimed at present implement situation of students' evaluation. The purpose of the research is put directly into the construction of the evaluation strategies and operation methods which can settle the practical problems to explore a kind of students' evaluation on teaching method so as to improve teachers' teaching quality hasten the harmony of teacher student relationship and arouse the students' activity of study---that is, consultative teaching evaluation.Consultative teaching evaluation refers to teaching evaluation index mutually decided by teachers, students and administrators, according to which, students comment on teachers' instruction after they finish their instruction. This kind of students' evaluation gives feedback of evaluation information to teachers directly. In accordance with the problems in the process of evaluation, teachers begin to do self-examination, self-assessment and find out corrective approach. The periodicity of the process is emphasized. Consultative teaching evaluation embodies the equality, trustfulness and respect between teachers and students sufficiently, lives up to communication and exchange between teachers and students really, and embodies stimulation and development more. The research explains the related theories of consultative teaching evaluation and explores them about a term from three aspects mainly, i.e. students' comments on the effect of consultative teaching evaluation, experts' evaluation on the quality of teachers' classroom instruction, the interview between teachers and students. Finally, it comes to the following conclusions:First, consultative teaching evaluation is feasible.Second, consultative teaching evaluation has obvious effects on the improvement of the quality of teaching and harmony of teacher student relationship. At the same time, it gives an impulse to students' study better and reaches teachers and students' joint progress.Third, teachers and students participate in drafting evaluation index together, which makes them feel each other's respect, trustfulness and equality, and understand the contents of evaluation clearer. Its bilateral interaction makes up the one-way defect better which usually appeared in the process of traditional students' evaluation on instruction.Fourth, during the implementation of evaluation, teachers should adopt the suggestions made by students scientifically and rationally and shouldn't accept them blindly.The thesis is divided into five parts. Part 1 is exordium. It includes the background, the purpose and method of the research, literature summary. Part 2 is present situation diagnosis of students' evaluation. It includes the manner of evaluation, disposal of the evaluation results, teachers, students and administrators' attitudes towards teaching evaluation, origin and enlightenment, and thinking of current students' evaluation, etc. Part 3 is the construction of related theories of consultative teaching evaluation. On the basis of discriminating the connotation of pact, the thesis poses consultative teaching evaluation, clarifies its core idea ---that is, developmental teachers' evaluation idea, equality, respect, good faith, explains the settlement of consultative teaching evaluation index and implement steps of consultative teaching evaluation. Part 4 is practice and exploration of consultative teaching evaluation. Part 5 is conclusion and outlook.
