Compared with competitive learning and independent learning, collaborative learning helps students develop different kinds of skills.It contributes to students'group knowledge construction, develop their critical thinking and creative thinking, and enhance their social skills. Collaborative learning has become a widely used learning style in higher education. However there are something of pseudo-collaboration during the learning process, such as "free ride", "responsibility to spread" or "phantom, a mere formality". Actually, students really don't get involved in collaborative learning.Participation is a prerequisite and basic security to achieve collaborative learning objectives. Currently, there are lots of experimental Study on learning participation,which cover the content, classification, teaching strategies, and factors affecting participation.but, there is little system discussion and research on the promotion of collaborative learning participation. For this reason, this paper attempts to contributing interventions to make college's students truly involved in collaborative learning by cyclic iterative design research.The thesis consists of five chapters:Chapter one is an introduction, it's an overview of the background of this study, the main research issues, research ideas and methods.Chapter two, amplified on this thesis's theoretical bases in the following three aspects: the design of collaborative learning, the participation of collaborative learning and design-based research.Chapter three, construct a practice frame of design-based research in college students' collaborative learning, and gives it a detailed explanation to each dimension of this frame.Chapter four, the thesis detailed discusses the course of design research in practical level. Firstly, based on the Contexts investigated for Design-based research, author designs the interventions. And then, amend and improve of them by iteration in Experiment. Finally, verify the effectiveness of interventions by survey and microteaching.Chapter five is the Conclusion and Perspective. Summed up the conclusions, contributions, Limitation of study, and propose future research work.
