Job hunting is an important problem of the people's livelihood. The CPC central committee and state council attached great importance on the employment of college graduates. University students are the important force of developing the country by relying on science and education in China. Under the today's multiple backgrounds, the high-speed development of market economy, continued increased enrollment ininstitution of higher learning, continued the deepening of reform on the graduates employment system and the number of undergraduates are going up year by year, job market increasingly a tough in Society as a whole.The problem of job hunting of undergraduates becomes an system engineering related to the government, society, higher education and graduates own.The 21st century is the century of life science and technology, the human, natural and social balanced development's the century, the natural sciences occurred significant changes and make a breakthrough progress' the century. Technical, economic and social's full speed development and dramatically changed has brought a good opportunity for development as well as a tough challenges who work in the agricultural science and technology. The main force of the work in the agricultural science and technology are the agricultural science major undergraduates. Therefore, under the development of modern agriculture backgrounds, research on job hunting of them and explore solutions to this problem appears extremely important.In this paper, use the comprehensive SWOT analysis, make the description and the characteristics of a general analyzing the overall employment situation of agricultural graduates in recently year, combination an empirical investigation of agricultural universities affiliated to the ministry of education in China 2008 agricultural undergraduates' first rate of employment, job flows, the starting salary level, career target, job satisfaction several indicatorsand so on, on impact of agricultural college students an important factor related to employment. The study found that, factors that affect employment in the agricultural college, both are prevalent in college students the issue of employment, also exist in the agricultural college only in the specificity of the issue of employment, these factors relate to one another, binding to each other, combined effect of the agricultural employment of university students. To enhance the employability of agricultural college students, Firstly,colleges and universities targeted training objectives should be accurate; deepen the content of the curriculum system and teaching reform, focus on teaching practice; established of the talent market to adapt to the dynamic needs of professional adjustment mechanism; construction phase employment education system; to expand quality education for agricultural college students. Secondly, Agricultural college students should learn their own professional knowledge, improve professional competence; pay attention to character, enhance the quality of non-professional capacity; the concept of change of employment, appropriate employment of psychological adjustment, and to advance the development of scientific, suitable for their own career planning, employment in order to improve their own competitiveness.
