In the recent years, the quantity of the new major of the private secondary vocational school develops faster and faster, but the quality of the major still can not meet the needs of education and society. Based on this situation, the study used the literature method, questionnaire, interview in the part of the private secondary vocational school students, teachers, parents and education administrative department heads, school leaders and business leaders to conduct a survey, and found that in an increasingly competitive education market, the private secondary vocational schools face a tough situation for the lack of funds, the attention, and the major development strategies. It is necessary to polish the major of the private secondary vocational schools. Guided by the educate economic theory, feet on the "brand" of the marketing theory, this study is on the point of view of the marketing to study the content of the brand major and the major development issues and to advance the ways and means which can polish the major of the private secondary vocational schools to become the brand major.Brand major is a major, which is born of the school major development process and closely links to the needs of the business and enterprise with high credibility. Its content is the name of the major, the combination of signs or graphics, the concept of the enterprise culture and the quality of employment. The main ways of the brand major: by dint of the secondary vocational schools policy and measures of the government, using the general ways and means of the enterprise that built the brand products for reference. Additional, the private secondary vocational schools should strengthen internal management, improve the efficiency of resource use, abide by the law to establish a good social image, and use the distinct strategy based on business needs. The specific ways of the brand major: First, the visual recognition system of brands image will be used in the brand major to establish a brand major image with the attention to the integration between the brand major image and the school and the enterprise image. Second, the brand major should be combined with the employment requirements, infiltrated by the enterprise culture and values and based on the teaching standards to carry out the practice of teaching. Third, the brand major should have the good quality of the employment. The graduates will have better performance and more stable work through the school-enterprise cooperation, the career guidance and the tracking services.This study advances the ways and means that how to polish the major of the private secondary vocational school, which is based on the characteristics and the reality of the private secondary vocational school and combined the system of building brands in the marketing with the major development of teaching. In this specific process, difficulties and problems are ineluctable. We should follow the law of education and teaching methods, pay attention to the integration of the ways and means and make timely adjustments. In this study, there is the imperfectness, such as: the establishment of major standards for the brand, brand major input-output analysis, the specific implementation of the major brand of moral issues. These need to be further study with the meticulous in-depth investigation and the great concentration.
