Investigation And Research On The Attitude And Intention Of College Students To Participate In Basketball Of Zibo Region

Located in the middle of Shandong province, Zibo Region, with ages-old history and brilliant culture, is the birthplace of Qi culture, but also one of the important sources of Chinese civilization. There are 10 colleges and universities in Zibo Region, the development of basketball usually contribute to the features of the college students in recent years.The college students as the major participants of the basketball are the main body of the athletics. At the same time as the development of the athletics, the beneficiaries are the students, undoubtedly. So the attitude and intention of the student plays a fundamental and ubiquitous role in the development of college basketball. Therefore, I would like to understand the view of basketball and requirements with the issue of attitude and intention on the basketball activities, in order to reflect the problems in the development of the college basketball.A comprehensive study has been carried out using literature survey, expert interviews, questionnaire survey, and mathematical statistics to get inside into the relationship between the development of the basketball and the attitude and intension of the student. Here we investigated the students on campus from 5 colleges and universities of Zibo region (Shandong University of Technology, Shandong Vocational College of Industry, Zibo Vocational Institute, Zibo Normal College, Zibo Vocational College of Science & Technology). Using the preformed by Mao Rongjian to design and analysis the questionnaires, the following conclusions are getting:1. Basketball is being more and more welcome by college students for its ebullient vitality. There are many students participate in basketball actively and take it as the main choice of sports activities in their spare time. Although a part of students join in the basketball occasionally, there is a strong desire to take part in it for them.2. To attend in basketball was affected by various factors, in which the behavior cognition is the most remarkable one, that is, they have a complete understanding about the identification results coming from the basketball game and have a positive evaluation for it. And this positive evaluation is the driving force for the students to participate in basketball activities.3. The extent of basketball activities are significantly different from the school environment of basketball, although the students have high enthusiasm to participate in basketball. The better basketball environments, the higher degree of student participate. Proper guidance and support can mobilize students to participate in basketball games.4. The emotional experience of basketball is the main driving force to attract students continued to participate in basketball activities. Good teaching and organizations are the most important factors for students to take part in the sports, both inside and outside the classroom. However, some of basketball curricular appears to be monotonous and boring, while the extracurricular basketball activity lacks the essential organization. All these lead to the lacking of needed own experience to the basketball. And there are serious psychological differences.5. The difficulty of the basketball activities has a significant impact on the participation the basketball activities. When they participated in the basketball, the students always take into account the physical and psychological situation. The partial students usually give up the basketball activities, for their poor body-condition and professional skill of the basketball. The results indicating that parts students are still in a primary level lacking the technique and tactics confidence, and that the basketball development situation is far from perfect in primary and high school.6. It is obviously that the extrinsic factors have a reactive on the basketball activity. Many students have no sufficient autonomy to take part in basketball and carry a certain amounts of social pressure from their parents and teachers. The relative proportions of the students attending the basketball activities are limited. It is proved that there is still a broad opportunities for the basketball activity and a considerable part of the students need proper guidance.
