Approach Of The Educational Functions Of College System Culture

College system culture is one form of campus culture and educational functions of college system culture is getting known by more and more people. It has close relations with students'development, so we cannot neglect the importance of construction of system culture. For instance, nowadays college students lack creative abilities and more frequently copy others works,and the reason for this phenomenon is sure to be found in college systems and system culture. If something is wrong with system culture, college students would consequentially be affected by it. Therefore, it is important for educators to learn and know what college system culture and its educational functions are.. As we know, educational functions of college system culture are still unacquainted. This article tries to illustrate its significance in theory and practice on the relations between system culture and students'development. And this is just the aim of the article.By studying the impact of current system culture on the status of the students, the author believes that there are three problems in the current college system culture: 1) The guiding function of system culture's value is neglected. Because of lack of students'participation in the progress of the system formulation and implementation, the guiding function of system culture's value has not been fully realized. 2) College system culture is relatively behind the times. Some of the current management system could not meet the actual needs of students'self-management. Some of the system culture are old and outdated and confine students'creative power. 3) College system culture lacks its own characteristics. The shortage of college's autonomy was the main reason for the lack of its own characteristics.After analysis of the problems in college system culture, the author puts forward three suggestions for construction of system culture: 1) Adhering to and strengthening the humanistic management. The modern college system arrangement must maintain flexibility and tensility of culture. In the college systems, college students' rights should be clear. Meanwhile, strengthening service consciousness of managers, reforming old evaluation systems and establishing new evaluation systems are also important. 2) University should strengthen the contact with the society to obtain information related to cultural innovation and develop the campus culture to maintain the students' legal rights. 3) The construction of college system culture with its own characteristics. In order to do so, some steps must be taken, such as defining college's position in the society, realizing autonomy of university and establishing perfect systems to ensures the mission to play its important role.
