Based on the relevant research literature, open questionnaire and interview, the theoretical model of the factors of sports professional college athletes athletic burnout was established.Through exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, the formal factors questionnaire was determined.The internal consistency was 0.868 and split-half reliability was 0.862. The internal consistency reliability of athletic burnout questionnaire that was translated was 0.878 and split-half reliability was 0.833. In Chongqing City,344 sports professional college athletes were selected to explore the present situation of athletic burnout and factors. On this basis,10 sports professional college athletes were selected as subjects, and eight weeks of group counseling were conducted. Results were as follows:1.Sports professional college athletes burnout factors questionnaire is a multi-dimensional construct, including interpersonal relationships, performance factors, coaches factors, training factors, physical factors and stress factors. Half reliability of the questionnaire, internal consistency reliability, content validity, construct validity, and the questionnaire structure were all good, so the questionnaire is able to become the suitable tool for sports professional college athletes'burnout factors.2.Chongqing City sports professional college athletes'burnout was relatively low.3.On the different gender of athletes, the results showed that the female athletes's score was higher than that of male athletes on emotional and physical burnout, and other burnout dimensions did not exist significant differences. Female athletes felt more the impact of training.Male athletes felt more the impact of interpersonal relationships.4.On the different sport events of athletes, the results show that burnout dimensions did not exist significant differences.The athletes of closed sports felt more the impact of pressure and training than the other sport events. The athletes of closed sports can felt more the effect of training than the athletes of open sports.5.On the different grades of athletes, the results showed that there was significantly different in burnout. After multiple comparisons,it showed that freshmen athletes was lower than others in the level of burnout. Meanwhile, on coaches or teammates to belittle, the sophomores' score was lower than that of the senior's. In addition to stress factors had no significant difference, other factors were significantly different. Freshmen less felt the impact of factors. Freshmen, sophomore and junior less experienced impact of interpersonal relationships. The third grade athelets felt more the impact of training. Sophomore and fourth-grade athelets felt less impact of physical. Overall, the junior athletes less affected the factors than others.6.There was no significant correlation between stress factors and the expectations of coaches and athletes aware,and there was significant correlation between other factors and burnout dimensions.Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that:performance and the training factors were significant predictors of negative self-concept of sports ability. Stress and training factors were significant predictors of the emotional and physical burnout. Relationships, performance and coach factors were very significant predictors on coaches or teammates to belittle. Performance, interpersonal and training factors significantly predicted psychological retreat. Performance and interpersonal factors significantly predicted the achievement decline. Performance, stress, training factors and interpersonal relationships significantly predicted sports burnout.7.Through group counseling,the experimental group's negative self-concept of sports ability, emotional physical burnout scores and the whole score had been improved significantly. Male athletes had been improved significantly in negative self-concept of sports ability and the whole score.Female athletes has received a significant improvement in the emotional and physical burnout.
