Positive psychological quality as positive personality traits,it is an important resource for the growth and development of adolescent athletes.Good quality can help athletes more full develop their ability and contribute to their self-actualization.Positive character is developing and changing,so adolescent athletes in the high school stage are in a critical period of personality development.The Purpose of this study:According to the prior research,the sores of the positive psychological Characters of adolescent athletes in Beijing are lower than the national norm.In order to improve the adolescent athletes’ the positive character,this research from the perspective of positive psychology is designed to explore a set of counseling intervention program for adolescent athletes in Beijing.And the research will provide specific operational program for the adolescent athletes’ psychological counseling and mental health education.Methods:This research uses the pretest-posttest experimental design,using both experimental group and control group.This experiment lasted two and a half months,including 7 times positive psychology subject group counseling activities.The experimental group has 28 people,their average age was 16.07 years old,the experimental group carry out the group intervention program that positive psychology orientation and multiform(including the theme activity class,psychological homework after class.And after-class reading is made by WeChat public number).The control group has 29 people,their average age was 16.83 years old,the control group without any form of psychological education activities.The time factor of the control group and the experimental group is consistent.And the experimental group is taught by the same teacher.Using “questionnaire of adolescent athletes’ positive character”to measure the members of the the experimental group and the control group before and after the group counseling intervention.It is an important basis for evaluation of intervention effect that interviewing the coaches and athletes.The results of the study show that:(1)The pre-test results suggest that the scores of positive character and mental resilience of the adolescent athletes in the experimental group and the control group had no significant difference,except for the factor of teamwork.that is,homogeneity.(2)The post-test results show that the scores that the dimensions in the second class including bravery,passion for learning,love,gratitude,teamwork,confidence and individual power.etc in the experimental group are significantly higher than the control group;The scores that the dimensions in the first class including wisdom,temperance,humanity and transcendence in the experimental group are higherthan the control group(p<0.05).(3)The scores that the dimensions in the second class including bravery,self control,emotional stability and love of learning,love,modesty and self-confidence optimistic,individual power and supportive,etc in the experimental group improved significantly;The scores of the dimension in the first class are significantly increased.(p<0.05).(4)the scores that self control and leadership of the dimensions in the second class and the scores that willpower and wisdom of the dimensions in the first class in the control group have significantly difference.(p<0.05).Research conclusions are as follows:The group counseling activities program that designed for adolescent athletes based on the theory of positive psychology is feasible,and the activities of willpower of the dimension in the first class need to be modified.It can be as a program which improves the adolescent athletes’ positive character;The scheme also can be used as an effective auxiliary means for the psychological work of sports schools.
