Concept moderniazation as the soul of people moderniazation, is the first solved problem in the process of undergraduate's moderniazation. Ideological and Political Theory Course, as a course of ideological nature and humanity, possesses the guidance to the collegestudents' value and science. It has not only politiacal educating people's function but also the function which guide students to recognize and reform the word. The study of Ideological and Political Theory Course's effect on the undergraduate's concept moderniazation, is conducive to the enhancement of ideological and political education's effectivness, also to the promotion of the students'whole quality.This paper is based on dialectical and historical materialism outlook, guided by marxism theory of all round development for man, relyed on the theory of people's concept moderniazation, refered the index system of man's concept moderniazation, from the point of view such as Marxist Philosophy and Human Science, Sociology, Psychology, to answer questions focusing on two dimensions. Fistly, Ideological and Political Theory Course has impacted on the more position of undergraduate's concept moderniazation. Secondly, this positive impaction possesses important function to inhance the effectivness of public courses. Specifically, this paper fist analyses theoretically the course in accelerating the undergraduates'concept moderniazation of the feasibility. Followed by the basis of the empirical of reaserch and analysis, to identify the status quo and the related issues. Finally put forward corresponding solution and measures. This paper is composd by five parts.Part I:Explain this study's purpose and significance, hypotheses and methords, the ideas and contents, the core concepts involvde in this definition. This section, based on the research about understanded full function of Ideological and Political Theory Course and college students concept moderniazation, summarizes the related concepts and theories, put forward the purpose and significance, hypotheses and methords, as well as design the ideas and contents.Part II:From the theoretical point of view, analyses the feasibility of college students'concept moderniazation affected by Ideological and Political Course. This part analyses the special fuctionof the course'contents; as well as explains effect on the students concept moderniazation of teachers' teaching abilities, teaching methods and practice teaching, so as to acquire the theoretical support of this research project on feasibility.Part III:Analyse the impact of Ideological and Political Theory Course on college students' concept modernization from the emliriacal point of view. This part is based on the research of 1260 students in five universities of Chongqing, such as Chongqing University, Southwest University, Sothwest University of Political Science, Chongqing Jiaotong University, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. The questionnarires'data are handled by Spssl6.0. First through the descriptive analysis I have learned that this course indeed impact on status of college students'concept modernization, then through factor analysis showed the objective and subjective factors involved in this course that impact on students' moderniazed concept. Followed by the crosstabs analysis of descriptive analysis, learned that Ideological and Political Theory Course has difference with different sex, different year and different major.Part IV:Combination with the emliriacal data, this part extends some related issues. This section dicusses the issues from three aspects:the abilities of teachers organizing the process of teaching, the evaluation of teaching and learning, the link of practising teaching.Part V:Based on the third and fourth section, this part put forward the solved ideas and specific measures. Firstly, the solutions have involed three aspects, such as the function of the course itself, the subject of teaching and the evaluation mechanism. Secondly, from four aspects, this paper discusses the specific measures, such as the enhance of teachers'teaching abilities, the construction of evaluation about teaching and studying, the construction of practice teaching base and management mechanisms, the building of school environment. This dicuss is conducive to provide a new way for the reform of Ideological and Political Theory Course's teaching., and lays the foundation for compound talents'culture that accords with socailist construction with Chinese characteristics.
