The 19 th CPC National Congress appeals: the majority of the young people should strengthen their ideals and beliefs,have lofty ideals,stand on the ground,be brave to do the tide of the times,fly the youth dream in the vivid practice of realizing the Chinese dream,and write the Chinese chapter of life in the unremitting struggle for the interests of the people.This indicates the development direction for the education of young student and young students to realize their dreams through practice.And through practice,young students can compose the chapter of life.It has always been true knowledge that practice testing truth,practice developing truth,and practice is the only way to become a talent.This is a rational understanding and firm belief for thousands of years of practice.Marx thought that social life is essentially practical and practice is the way of human existence.General secretary Xi Jinping emphasized that "no way to sit on the road".In fact,any form of education can not be separated from the practice.The traditional educational methods such as the father's band,the teacher and the apprentice,the old man and the child all consciously and unconsciously reflect the practical teaching idea.The wide application of class teaching system has aggravated negative influence of theoretical teaching and neglect practice teaching.since the new century,our country attaches great importance to the practice of educating people.Although ideological and political education major also attaches importance to practice teaching and students' practical ability training,there are still many problems,such as emphasizing theory and neglecting practice,emphasizing classroom and neglecting extracurricular activities,emphasizing imitating and neglecting innovation,emphasizing discussing and neglecting experience.the undergraduates of Ideological and political education are regarded as the subject of research in this paper,based on the practical ability cultivation of the undergraduates of Ideological and political education,Marx's theory,ideological and political pedagogy and other theoretical foundations of practice are systematically combed,the connotation,characteristics,focal points,basic principles and requirements of the practical ability cultivation of the undergraduates of Ideological and political education are fully defined,this paper analyzes the main problems and reasons for the practical ability cultivation of the undergraduates of Ideological and political education,and puts forward the Countermeasures for the practical ability cultivation of the undergraduates of Ideological and political education,according to the present situation of the practical ability cultivation of the undergraduates of Ideological and political education of universities in Chongqing,which provides reference for the practical ability cultivation of the undergraduates of Ideological and political education.This paper mainly consists of six parts: the first part focuses on the background of the topic,the practical significance,the present situation at home and abroad,the research methods and the innovation points.The second part focuses on the theoretical basis for the cultivation of the practical ability of the undergraduates,including the Marx doctrine of practice,the concept of Marx's ability,the combination of education and production and labor,and the practice view of Ideological and political education.In the third part,it focuses on the characteristics,focus and basic principles of the training of the undergraduate students' practical ability.The fourth part is to investigate and analyze the current situation,main problems,main and objective reasons and successful experience of the training of the undergraduate students' practical ability.The fifth part emphasizes the education concept,target system,ways of realizing the training,the cooperative mechanism,the guarantee mechanism and the evaluation mechanism of the undergraduate students' practical ability.
