With the development of China's higher education reform in colleges and universities, enrollment size gradually increased and higher education students in colleges and universities become more. According to the different genetic factors, as well as personal character, growth conditions, there is a significant difference among physically quality, comprehensive power of movement and sports ability. As the reform in school physical education, particularly after the quality education being put forward, how to deal with the student diversity and follow the individualized to motivate students'enthusiasm and initiative in learning physical education and play their mainstay role become the hot spot for many researchers.According to a large number of literature as well as the interviews with first-line volleyball teachers and experts, I found the volleyball programs what schools are now set up is still a uniform for all students in the teaching content, teaching methods, teaching objectives and evaluation criteria. So that in the teaching process part of the students with good physical and athletic ability feel the content simple and boring,.It could not get their new different stimulus. As part of the students with weaker physical feel that they can not catch up with the progress, especially in the latter study phase of the volleyball techniques and tactics. The uniform assessment standards make them feel the pressure and the competition of simple running forth and back make them feel dull and they think that is a waste of time. It must result in a negative sense. In conclusion, after summarize the present teaching mode and teaching organization, a new teaching organization was raised in this research-stage-in and hierarchical teaching.In this study, we will reasonably divided volleyball teaching process into the basic skills learning stage and the technical and tactical application learning stage. at different stages for different students, we can arrange a reasonable teaching objectives, teaching content and evaluation standards so as to promote the students'mastery of volleyball skills and tactics. Compared with the experimental results of the study and the traditional teaching forms of organization, we prove that effectiveness in a stage-in and hierarchical organizational form is superior to the traditional teaching effect. Conclusion of the study includes the following:(A) stage-in and hierarchical teaching method improves the volleyball teaching effects.(B) stage-in and hierarchical teaching method is in line with the discipline in volleyball learning.(C) stage-in and hierarchical teaching method meets college students'physical and psychological characteristics. It follows the principles of individualized, and fully mobilizes the enthusiasm and initiative of students.(D) stage-in and hierarchical teaching method has improved students'senses of the community and cooperative spirit.
