Great changes have taken place with the reform of education and school Physical education about volleyball teaching.In order to let the students establish the interest of volleyball,recently,many teaching methods in reformation of methodical and experimental research have been presented.But there exists the condition that method develops before practice at present Beijing University' s choosing volleyball class.Many college teachers are still confused in how to teach volleyball class let the students like volleyball and enlarge the population of volleyball players.Under the policy of quality education,we have to think and practice gradually in how to improve the volleyball ability,and foster the interest.Traditional Physical Education mainly adopts the pattern of "Teaching -- showing--practicing",and this teaching pattern essentially stress on the center of coaches.Students just the involuntarily accept and doing practice.Students learn the every shill completely according to the demand of teacher and exercise each action and meet the criterion of coach.Though this style merely shows the teacher' s ability of organization and make the order of class very accordingly,also limit the subjectivity and performance of creation ability.Those students who meet the criterion of the teacher are outstanding ones.Due to the condition of body and personality etc,some students who cannot achieve the criterion are considered as not very good students.Still some students through their efforts have made great progress,but compared with others,they still have a long way to go.As a result,they may be ignored by teachers,even be thought as "bad students",causing students losing the activity and self--confidence. This type of pattern cannot be fit for the requirement of quality education and the demand of modern society to talents.This experiment research start from the point of the students,with the study of lots of teaching methods;then can choose one the those beneficial to the foster of the student practice ability and operation, as well as the base of flexibly use and designation of teaching method. The effect was proved through experiments.The followings are according to research and analysis:1.The method that consider the students as main part.Students master the basic skills and conform to the criterion of teaching2.Let the students as the main part and after the students learn the skill, they can combine the skills with contest.Make the students foster the interest of volleyball,and set the thought lifelong Physical education.3.The students show agreement and activity on the method that consider them as main part.
