In the long jump competition, we often find some athletes, who had the strength to get the gold medal,, ultimately can't win the game. Because of misplay in run-up, some long jump athletes'strength level greatly reduced. It's a pity for everyone to get such result, at the same time it make us raise awareness of the importance of run-up. In the long jump, if the take-off is the key, then the run-up is the prerequisite. Especially in some matches, if the players have similar strength, then the run-up even directly determine the outcome of the competition. In the long jump training, marker run-up is a very effective method to raise the level of long jump run-up. In this paper, researcher use marker run-up as a tool to train the middle school students from Taoyuan, Hunan province. Based on literature-method, interviewing-method, observation-method, experimental-method, it cost three months to train students. Experimental group's training is divided into three phases. The first phase:placing markers on the raceway; place one marker for every two steps, altogether set 10 markers. It is roughly 40-45 meter distance from the first marker to the last marker. This distance should be 2 to 4 steps longer than the length when the competition. The second phase is similar to the first phase, but the difference is placing the markers on the long jump track. The third phase:setting markers for the last six steps, then go on training run-up. The control group'training method is the full-distance run-up and half-distance run-up, only set the start marker, and some maybe set a second marker. In the three-month training, the only difference between the experimental group and the control group, is the run-up training method. In this paper, it's from five aspects to reaesrch the impact of marker run-up:step length, stride frequency, horizontal speed, accuracy of take-off and distance of long jump. Based on data analysis, the conclusion is:the experimental group's stride stability and accuracy of take-off are better than control group; experimental group and control group's other three aspects aren't different from each other.
