The Research On Social Support Of Net Poor Elderly People

Since most rural areas have not yet established formal social pension insurance system, but with the changing family structure in rural areas and changes in village life, traditional family support and its major challenges facing the rural elderly population problems facing the elderly poor. Therefore, to understand the rural poverty situation and social support of elderly people to build their effective social support system, we conducted the study. This undoubtedly is a strong echo of objective reality, is also a useful supplement to the theory and perfect.The study used qualitative research methods, Xiangtan County, Hunan Province were selected White Rock Wing On Villas of the 15 elderly people in rural poverty study, a comprehensive analysis of the Government's formal social support systems and family, neighbors and relatives and friends, community, clan and other informal social support and the support of the rural poverty situation of the elderly, and look forward to the construction of the elderly rural poor social support networks have some reference. Paper is divided into five parts, the first is the introduction, including questions, contents and literature review; second part is the theoretical perspective, this article briefly describes the social support, social needs theory and its application in this study; s three parts of the research method, the fourth part of the study results, respectively, from government, family, relatives, neighbors, village leaders and other subjects of the rural poor of their social support of older persons; the fifth part of the basic conclusions drawn, How to improve the rural poor and the elderly community in the support network to make a few suggestions.
