The paper mainly talks about how the university course changed and developed under the influence of higher education policies. There are many factors that affect the development of university curriculum, but the higher education policy is the more important factor we have to considerate. The characteristic of each stage higher education curriculum has closely relationship between the big events and the social situation, tracing with the specific historical stage trace, it mainly guided and interned by policies and laws on university curriculum. The paper chooses form 1949 to the moment, it because the founded of New China has made the nature of our country's higher education undergone fundamental changes. Higher education's curriculum also established to meet the needs of new China. Sixty years is a relatively independent and complete stage.The text divided into the following sections:The first part:Introduction. It mainly introduces the resources, significance and methods of the research.The second part:The adjustment, reform the initial shapes of higher education courses.The third part:the back of higher education courses. It means the destruction of the Cultural Revolution of the University Curriculum. Because it violated the law of the development of higher education Curriculum. The higher education curriculum got worse. It is the serious damage to the university curriculum in the new Chinese history. The forth part:the comprehensive reform of the university curriculum. After Cultural Revolution, the university curriculum entered the comprehensive development stage after the reconstruction.The fifth part:the modernization of university curriculum. Along with the social progress and economic development, the university curriculum has entered a new historical stage, that is the modernization period.
