The Research And Realization Of Online Examination System

As the development of computer technology and network technology, the traditional examination cannot completely meet the requirements of digitized and standardized test, the industry departments increasingly tend to use online examination system to accomplish various proficiency test. Online examination system with its outstanding advantages of low operation cost, highly efficiency and great flexibility attract people's extensive concern, especially in higher institutions, has become the focus of research and application.This issue discusses the ways of how to use computer technology and network technology, to develop online examination system based on campus network, which has strong commonality, good performance, easy maintenance. This system consists of test question database management, creation test paper management, online examination, automatic marking, result management, etc. It realize that client computer randomly display sequence of questions, and save user answer in real time. This system use automatic marking and manual marking combines, bring in S-P tables from Classroom Instruction Information Process System (Câ…¡PS), to analyze levels of knowledge grasped and appropriate difficulty level of testing questions, and provide objective basis for evaluating the effects of students'learning.The online examination system based on Web technology development, adopts B/S model of three-tier structure, uses Asp.net technology and C# programming language, SQL Server 2005 as database management system.The dissertation discusses processes from system of requirement analysis to realization. Firstly, according to the actual needs of online examination, analyzes the test of organization and management model, establishes the system model, then designs the system function module, establishes static data model, and describes system dynamic behavior, meanwhile, analyzes database structure and the relationship between data tables, and then introduces the realization process of each function modules, expatiates solutions to key issues such as auto-generating examination papers, examination timer, real-time preservation answers, and S-P tables. Finally, this dissertation gives a summarization and proposes some suggestions about subsequent research.
