A Comparative Study Of Physics Examination Papers In Chinese And English College Entrance Examinations

A new round of education reform was launched in 2014.The new curriculum reform proposed to abolish the division of arts and science and liberalize examination subjects.Zhejiang province as the first batch of reform pilot college entrance examination comprehensive reform pilot program.We will reform the setting of examination subjects,abolish the division of arts and science,and adopt the "3+3" model.The choice of subjects is handed over to students,allowing them to make their own choices according to their interests and development direction.The new recruit students system reform,means the college entrance examination physics examination paper question change.The subject is more closely related to the major,how to propose the test paper,in order to select the appropriate professional talent for the university,this is worth in-depth study of the problem.The mode of choosing examination can give students more freedom,and let them consider the direction of their major when they enter high school.This new admissions system makes the gaokao more international.The "3 + 3" model of the new gaokao is similar to the a-level exams in the UK.In order to better achieve the ambitious goal of the reform of the examination and enrollment system in China,the paper of a-level physics examination in the United Kingdom and the paper of zhejiang province were selected for comparative analysis,and the differences between English and Chinese papers were found from the question types and content.The thesis consists of four chapters.The first chapter introduces the background,significance and current situation of the research.The methods selected in the research were literature analysis and comparative study.The second chapter gives a brief introduction to the college entrance examination system in China and Britain,and introduces the examination syllabus in China and Britain.And detailed statistics of the number of knowledge points in the syllabus and the degree of requirements,comparative analysis,to understand the breadth and depth of knowledge points in the English test.The third chapter makes a comparative analysis of the Chinese and English physics examination papers.In this paper,the a-level physics examination paper of zhejiang physics elective examination paper and the a-level physics examination paper of British AQA institution in recent five years are selected,and A comparative study is conducted from the aspects of the question structure of the examination paper,the breadth of question knowledge,the source of topic scene,and the examination ability.On the structure of the examination paper,the composition of zhejiang examination paper is single choice,multiple choice,experiment,calculation,among which the calculation account for the most points.The a-level physics paper in the UK consists of single choice questions,calculation questions,drawing questions and essay questions.The essay questions with the largest number of questions are essay questions.Essay questions are usually asked by explanation,statement,explanation,etc.They're more open.Because British A-Level unit carries on the examination,because this paper knowledge breadth is bigger than zhejiang.British and zhejiang test paper topic situation are close to production and life,the situation comes from the real life,sports,technology application,the forefront of science and technology and so on.In terms of test questions,both China and Britain attach great importance to the investigation of students' comprehension ability.Zhejiang paper attaches great importance to the students' comprehensive analysis ability,the test questions usually contain different parts of the knowledge points,students need to carry out comprehensive analysis.British a-level papers attach great importance to students' logical reasoning ability.Students need to collect information,make logical reasoning and explain questions through charts.
