Teaching Writing Skills Through Reading An Approach

Teaching high school writing in analyzing seens to be mature and is currently education recognized as an effective instructional method. This method is considered to apply to the law of student's knowledge and in theory is able to produce better results. However, there is a gap between the ideal and the reality. Survey shows that high school students have writing teaching, generally considering it's too confined to lines and guidance is still weak. In particular, there is a lack of guidance in the way of analyzing the topic itself, during which the students can't train their way of thinking. The cause of this problem, in my poinion, lies in the separetion of reading and writing in teaching process. As no more time to be afforded for more atlempts in writing teaching, this article advocates that writing teaching is combined with reading teaching to achieve a harmonions unity, mutnal promotion and bigger gain with less efforts.This article consists of three chapters, the first of which undertakes analysis of the current sitnetion of high school writing teaching, in particolar, the problems existing in students' writing,aiming at identifying the causes. Chapterâ…¡focuses on the relation between high school reading teaching and improving the students'writing skills, ending in a close connection between them two in teaching philosophy and teaching goals. In the third chapter, the method of improving students'writing ability by researching into reading teaching. It presents suggestions that educators should take full advantage of the class to enhance students'writing motivation. It is recommended that the reading materials should be studied in multiple aspects to achiene the formation of aesthetic taste and thus a leap in writing quality is to be achieveal by refining mears of expressing emotions and training the proper way of organising writing.
