This article from the current situation of vocational schools, analyses the outstanding problems in vocational schools'students education briefly; discusses the feasibility of Folk Art in vocational education schools; elaborates the Folk Art can educate the students from moral, intellectual, physical, Heart Function, etc.; and points out the ways and means of educational role of Folk Art. The author introduces the practice of Folk Art in vocational school in author's case; the Folk Art provide practical experience on the implementation of arts education in vocational schools, to improve the overall quality of students, innovative teaching methods and means.The result of the research on the educational role of Folk Art show:1, Folk Art is the treasures of Chinese art, the campus culture is fertile oil for folk arts inheritance, folk art is promising in secondary vocational schools'training and education of students;2,Folk Art improve the psychological quality of students and their educational attainments. Study of folk art requires patience, perseverance, meditation and intention. Psychological and educational attainments of students are the talisman, which can conduct them how to get along well in the community shield.Folk arts silently purify the mind of students to enhance the students' educational attainments;3, Folk Art train the students'creative thinking and professionalism. in the transmission, folk art e need to constantly enrich and develop in order to forever live their timeless charm;4, Folk Art develops activities for students of social practice to help students establish a correct view of careers, employment outlook and business outlook.;5, Folk Art rebuild the self-confidence of students, add the students abilities;6,Folk Art create a harmonious school atmosphere. "Everyone loves art, all practice self-cultivation" and building a harmonious campus culture as the internal driving force.
