Sitting in south China, Guangxi, there are 8 cities/counties including Napo, Jingxi, Daxin, Longzhou, Pingxiang, Ningming, Fangcheng, and Dongxing, and 103 towns in these cities/counties are bordering 17 counties in 4 provinces in Vietnam. The total area of these bordering towns accounts to 18,000 square kilometer, with more than 2,420,000 people and 1020 kilometer border. People of all nationalities in Guangxi border is to build the border region and a major force in the consolidation of border defense, to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity has made an important contribution. However, due to historical, geographical, natural and other reasons, the social development of border areas in Guangxi is low level of backward modes of production, weak infrastructure, education, culture, health care, poor sanitation, low living standards. Also, since the 1990s, the Vietnamese government realize ethnic minority problems and work is related to Vietnam's economic development and social stability and national unity of major issues, adopted a series of special policy, and receiving obvious effects to Guangxi border area brings great pressure. In order to change the border region of Guangxi as soon as possible, the poverty and backwardness, and rejuvenating the border, people rich, good-neighborliness, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region party committee and government to seize the national strategy of developing the western region the opportunity, from the august 2000 war began to approach the battle to concentrate certain amount of time, man, material and financial resources, poor infrastructure from the start to resolve to break through constraints of economic and social development, weak links, in order to promote an open border areas, development and speed up the development environment to create a good foundation. Among them, education programs is the key, with a total investment of 3 million yuan, construction of 855 schools for 35 Guangxi border towns in eight cities and counties. To promote prosperity to border areas for the further action to promote the accelerated development of the border to help the rich living on the frontiers as quickly as possible to consolidate the motherland, State Council on June 9, 2007 promulgation of "prosperity to border areas action" Eleventh Five-Year "plan", "plan" put forward a "give priority to developing education", the requirement of priority, funding for compulsory education in the border counties included in the scope of protection. Can be seen that the construction of schools in the border of Guangxi has been enough attention and great support, ushered in an excellent development opportunity. However, increase the input of funds does not necessarily guarantee the healthy development of the school. To construction Guangxi border compulsory education school must also rely on their grasp of the status quo and future trend. At present, the border of Guangxi compulsory education schools are not enough in-depth understanding of the status quo ,on the border of the future direction of school development is also not clear enough, for the border-related policies in schools has yet to be introduced.Based on the above understanding, in this study use documents, questionnaires, interviews and field survey methods, the functions of the Guangxi border exercise of compulsory education schools, a sample survey carried out, and accumulated a lot of data, text, language (audio), photographs, etc. Through the collation of survey data analysis, the researchers sort out the border of Guangxi and development of compulsory education schools, the process of germination, and from school size, teaching facilities, education policy, government investment and other aspects of analysis of the Guangxi border rise of compulsory education in schools. Was also drawn from research on the border of Guangxi compulsory education schools, the basic knowledge of the functions of Guangxi border compulsory education in schools to exercise the functions of individual development better, but corresponds to the border of this environment, the special political functions, special economic function, special cultural function has not fully exercised. The border in Guangxi during the compulsory phase of school building some of the major outstanding problems in the following three aspects: First, the border of Guangxi compulsory education in schools is not enough in-depth understanding of the special functions; Secondly, the existing educational evaluation system is far from reasonable; Third, the school support systems to be improved.With the compulsory education stage of Guangxi borders more in-depth understanding of the school after the border of Guangxi of this study raise the compulsory education stage trending to the inhabitants of border training school vision. As well as the value of the inhabitants of border training school's unique theory of rational reflection and questioning that on the border young people to grow, border area development, the country's stability is of special significance; the inhabitants of border training school building can be three-pronged: First, in order to cultivate high-quality living on the frontiers of the training objectives for the inhabitants of border training school; Second, development of specialized courses abroad supplement the inhabitants of border training school curriculum; Third, full use of social resources to improve schools, support the inhabitants of border training school system.Finally, the researchers mainly from the study of ideas and research methods on the whole course of the study were summarized and reflection, analysis of the success of this study and shortcomings, and to the compulsory education schools in border of Guangxi, pointed out the direction for further research.
