Education is the foundation of the nation,the development of education in the border areas is related to the development of the whole country,but also carries the responsibility of "developing individual physical and mental harmoniously,developing intellectual resources sustainably so as to construct a harmonious national society".The security of the country,the stability of the boarder,and the unity of the nation cannot be separated from the education of the border ethnic areas.So the education in the border areas is of great significance.The border area in Guangxi has always been a relatively special region of our country.There is a large number of ethnic groups there.It is also a colony of minorities in China.Therefore,It has a special duality because the border area of Guangxi is an important national defense field but also a minority settlement.Under the background of the new round of curriculum reform,the Ministry of Education has put forward new requirements for the current art education in Junior Middle School in the "Arts Curriculum Standard",which requires to bring the development and utilization of local cultural resources into the art curriculum,excavate the appropriate teaching content,enrich the art classroom,improve the quality of students,and let these valuable resources be fully used in the art teaching in Junior Middle School,which has become an innovative measure to realize the idea of new curriculum.This paper focuses on the research of how to develop and utilize the local art resources in Guangxi border areas and the combination of fine arts teaching in Junior Middle School.The Part I mainly expounds the background and significance of this research,analyzes and combs the current relevant research both domestic and abroad.This paves the groundwork for the following article.The first chapter is about the definition of local art resources,and we analyze its teaching significance in the art class in middle school.The Chapter II mainly carries on the field investigation in Guangxi Border Junior Middle School.We conducted the questionnaire,the interview and so on to learn the current art education situation in Guangxi Border Junior Middle School.And then we analyze the reasons and problems through these data.The Chapter III puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures for the implementation of art resources in art class in Guangxi Border Junior Middle School.The Chapter IV designs teaching case through developing the local art resources according to the local actual situation so that the art teacherscan refer to.summarizes the development practice of art resources in the art class in middle schools in Guangxi border area.
