With the new curriculum reform in high school geography popular and deep-going, the new curriculum standards has changed a lot in the new curriculum target ,curriculum structure,curriculum course content and evaluation, which poses new tasks and challenges to geographic teachers. Under such circumstances, the geography teachers'transformation of the traditional pouring-in-process teaching methods, creative implementation of the new curriculum for their students and flexible learning strategies to master the guides, the progressive implementation of high school geography teaching learning strategies will be of great significance.Judging from the current development situation, on the one hand, a number of young teachers in geography teaching process still do not release the student's academic potential to the fullest, resulting in such widespread phenomena that students are not able to learning. The crux of the matter is that students'mastery of the learning strategies are insufficient and teachers'instruction and training in teaching students learning strategies to are still not enough, so it becomes a problem demanding prompt solution to the New Curriculum Reform depth development. On the other hand, in China, the instruction and research of learning strategies, in Chinese, English, mathematics, physics, chemistry and other subjects have begun to have a certain development. Due to the factors that high school geography has a strong comprehensiveness and a lot of professional multi-terms, geographic subject learning and teaching strategies to guide the study at home and abroad is still relatively lagging behind. There is an urgent need for the guidance of research and practice in psychological theory and relevant contents.In order to reverse this situation, under the instruction of these new curriculum ideas, learning strategy instruction, educational psychology and other related scientific theory, combined with the work of practice and experience conducts a high school geography learning strategy use survey to analyze and improve the level of strategy research. The main contents of this study are divided into three aspects. Firstly, detailed and objective survey of high school students use of learning strategies geographical level; Next, stage step-on traditional teaching and learning strategies to guide the teaching in practice and effect of testing; Thirdly is systematic and comprehensive analysis of learning strategies to guide teaching on student achievement the impact of learning strategies sum up high school geography teaching practices.
