Since the late 1990s'century, China launched a new round of basic education curriculum reform, the core part of curriculum reform is curriculum implementation, and the basic approach to curriculum implementation is classroom teaching, which requires us to pay attention to the degree of the acceptance for new curriculum of teachers and students. What is effective teaching is that the teaching process agrees with regularity, effective, cost-effective and efficient teaching. In order to better teaching, people explore and research effective teaching that is to say, reduces the teaching consumption and increase the gain of teaching. Thus nowadays if we want to carry on quality education, exploration of the effectiveness of classroom teaching would has very important practical significance.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part is introduction, an overview the significance of the research into the topic and the major methods of researching and the current research situation and literature document review; the second part is about the definition of the concept of effective teaching and theoretical basis; the third part is about " the need for the implementation of effective reading teaching in high school Chinese class ", and the introduction of the measure of effective reading teaching the high school Chinese class and current status of high school Chinese teaching in class; the fourth part is about " the effective implementation strategy for Chinese reading teaching in high school Chinese class ". As a key part, it tells the effective reading teaching of classical poetry, the effective reading teaching of classical Chinese and the effective reading instruction of modern text respectively.
