In 2001, the Minstry of Education promulgated the"National Basic Education Curriculum Reform Guidelines."In 2003, the Ministry of Education promulgated the"high school geograghy curriculum standards", then the new geography textbooks came out. How to implement the new geography curriculum has become all the geograghy teachers and specialists'focus of attention since then. To meet the need of the new round of curriculum reform, the author teaching in the Ordos City introduced one"double-action two cases of geographical teaching mode", this article is in this background to determine the topic"Number 1 senior high school, Ordos City Geographic'two cases'application strategy and research."The subject belongs to applied reseach, and the main research methods are: literature study, questionaire, interview, behavior study, experimenting, etc.The application strategy of geography case study of the frist year of senior high school includes five main strategies: independent and cooperative learning strategies, collective counseling and group counselong strategies, individual counseling strategies, the strategies with the characteristics of geography learning.The application strategy of geography lesson plans has three major strategies: collective application strategy, a phased flexibly using strategy an dtypical tactics inquiry strategy.The application strategy of "two lesson plans" of the first-year students in senior middle school has 6 important characteristics: 1. emphasizing to cultivate the students'autonomous awareness; 2. the differences in strategies among the different levels of the students; 3. the differences in strategies levels of the different teaching content ; 4.the transference in strategies when being applied ; 5.paying attention to cultivating interest in geography leaning of the students; 6. cultivating the students' basic geography leaning methods.The relationship of the application strategy of "two lesson plans" of the first year geography of senior middle school: the goal of the lesson plans of the first -year geography and its implementation is to achieve the teaching goal more effectively, and to improve the efficiency of geography learning and teaching, and to enhance the geography teaching quality. 1.The strategies of geographical lesson plans are interactive and cooperate with each other ;2. On the other hand, they focus on different aspects and they can't replace with each other ;3. In the real teaching , the strategies should be overlap and be applied flexibly.The scope of implementation of strategy of geography case study and lesson plan: the implementation strategy of geography case study and lesson plan has a significant effect on the student's full development in the knowledge an dskills, processes an dmethods, attitudes and values in all three areas. In the implementation, it is suitable for all the senior one high school students, especially for the students who are average level or below the average level, teaching performance is improved significantly.
