With colleges and universities continued to deepen the reform of physical education, many colleges and universities have already Wushu curriculum as an option included in physical education among colleges and universities.Fine traditional Chinese Wushu as a sport, the promotion of physical and mental health of university students, foster national pride, heritage and other aspects of traditional Chinese culture can not be replaced to other items that role.However, What is the status? What are the main issues currently maintained? How to deal with and solve these problems? In this paper, through a questionnaire survey and field visits in Shanghai and other forms of Wushu in 10 colleges and universities, teachers and students to investigate a comprehensive understanding of the 10 colleges and universities, to carry out the status of Wushu curriculum, study their problems and draw relevant conclusions.As the results shows:(1)We emphasis on technical education to neglect of theory in Wushu Teaching.(2) The content of the Teaching Wushu is old-fashioned.(3)The assessment is too one-sided, there is only a single evaluation of teaching skills evaluation model.(4) Lack of Wushu equipment in teaching.(5)Wushu teacher's knowledge is not high in general.(6) Wushu instruction overlooks the meaning of a type offense.(7) Wushu teaching process lack of awareness of life-long physical education thought.According to the Shanghai Wushu courses college the problems, the author proposes the development of countermeasures are as follows:(1)We should emphasis on cultural theory courses in Wushu. (2) To strengthen innovation in university teaching Wushu.(3)update the assessment of concepts, content and evaluation methods.(4) The increase Wushu venues, equipment, construction investment.(5) to strengthen and foster the introduction of Wushu teachers, the rational allocation of Wushu teacher ratio.(6) We emphasis on teaching offensive and defensive combat in Wushu teaching.(7) We have to strengthen the process of teaching life-long in Wushu.
