At the beginning of the 21st century, China launched a new round of high school's basic educational curriculum reform, high school history courses are being set out in this reform.This is a re-creation about the curriculum culture, a comprehensive reform and innovation from educational philosophy to teaching practice. Its implementation can make the general teachers and schools face a baptism of teaching reform, a real test of both the challenges and opportunities.In 2006, Anhui Province, the whole entered the new curriculum reform ranks. The difficulties about The New Curriculum Reform in Anhui Province is in the relatively poorer rural areas, because the teaching staff and teaching facilities in the vast rural areas are far behind the city. In order to meet the new and old curriculum system of the collision, change and transformation, to better promote a new curriculum reform, to understand the real situation about this new history curriculum reform in the rural areas of Anhui, The author investigated many aspects which concern history teachers and teaching situation in rural areas Yuexi County Anqing City, such as the use and evaluation about New Curriculum history textbooks (PEP),the status about students'learning, the status of teaching and learning environment. And collected relevant data and information,trying to understand the true situation about high school history curriculum reform in rural areas Yuexi. Through investigation and study, we can find that there have been many achievements about new history curriculum reform in rural areas Yuexi, such as the contingent of teachers, classroom teaching innovation, evaluation methods, the improvement of teaching and learning environment,have made some achievements, but in the new curriculum training, teachers teaching methods and concepts, the development of curriculum resources, the transformation of students'learning ways, the transformation of assessment and teaching environment, there are still problems of varying severity in urgent need of improvement.Through the research about high school history curiiculum reform,this paper is intended to find the existing problems and shortcomings about the new history curriculum reform in rural areas Yuexi and provide some reference for educational authorities to strengthen the new curriculum reform,I hope that the research can be useful in advancing the new history curriculum in Yuexi County and the new curriculum reform in the whole province.
