The responsibilities of the teachers are to teach knowledge and educate students; teachers play a very important role in the students’ lives. It is an important problem to establish a harmonious relationship between teachers and students in school education; it is also an urgent problem to improve a school teaching quality. so the author searched many articles and thesis to find something to learn, and analyze some real cases to hope to solve the problem from several perspectives.This thesis defines the definition of relationship and the content of a harmonious relationship between teachers and students. The new relationship between teachers and students is different from the traditional relationship between them. In this new relationship, teachers aren’t the authority in class. Now the teachers and students are equal in personality. In class the teachers should motive the students’ activity to learn, and insist the students dominate place while the teachers are as guardians. The characteristics of the harmonious relationship are domestic and equal, respect the teachers and love the students, benefits the students as well as the teachers.This thesis mainly about this subject and the author tries to analyze the problem through some real examples happened in school, and to prove how this factors influence the relationship between teachers and students, such as family and community, media. They are very important for building the relationship. In this way the teachers can overcome the native factors and develop the active factors to form resultant force improve the relationship between them.At the end of the thesis, the author gives some suggestions to change the current situation to build a good relationship between teachers and students. The teachers and students are the import factor, but building the relationship between schools and family is also a good way to improve the teachers and students’ relationship. In a word, building the harmonious relationship between teachers and students is a systematical project, it needs everyone’s effort.
