The Spatial Statistics Analysis Between Economic Development And Higher Education Of Yangtze Delta Megalopolis

The social function of higher education is more and more important. Social changes and the demand is one of the major reasons of education reform and development.Growing up of Yangtze Delta opens up new opportunities for the education reform and development. Since the reform-open policy was implemented in 1978, the region of Yangtze Delta which including Shanghai,8 cities of Jiangsu province and 7 cities of Zhejiang province has become one of the most energetic and rich region on economic growth in China and is leading the whole economic development of China.This paper is established in interaction between higher education and regional economic of Yangtze Delta megalopolis. The paper analyzes the spatial evolution and its characteristics of Yangtze Delta megalopolis which is based on understanding the urban system and spatial structural theory and practice at home and abroad. And it also researches the relationship between economic development and higher education of Yangtze Delta megalopolis by using spatial analysis in geography. At the end, the paper comes up with the suggestion how to develop harmoniously between economic development and higher education of Yangtze Delta megalopolis.The paper is divided into seven chapters. The first three chapters introduce the main question, literature reviews and theoretical basis. The fourth chapter"Survey of Economic Development and Higher Education of Yangtze Delta Megalopolis"introduce the general situation of Yangtze Delta megalopolis in the last few years. The fifth chapter"The Spatial Statistics Analysis between Economic Development and Higher Education of Yangtze Delta Megalopolis"is the heart of the paper. At first, the chapter introduce the models and index of spatial data analysis. And then, it analyses the sample data by using DPS data analysis software and gives final results. The sixth chapter"Analysis of Economic Development and Higher Education of Yangtze Delta Megalopolis which is based on the result of EDSA"researches the reasons of 16 cities spatial together. The seventh chapter gives the suggestion how to develop harmoniously between economic development and higher education of Yangtze Delta megalopolis. At the end, the paper is summing up the result and pointing out defects of the article.
