Research On The Issues And Paths To The Local Colleges Serving The New Countryside Construction

Building a new socialist countryside is an important strategic plan ,which our party made at the beginning of the century, and is an important strategic choice to solve the "san nong" questions and to realize the well-off society.The new countryside construction has extensive demand for the local colleges and universities, especially for the large quantities and rapid development of the local colleges. The local colleges should fully exert their advantages to serve the new rural construction, and undertake this historical mission.This paper tries to solve the problems as following: why should the local colleges serve the new socialist countryside building? What are the main problems existing in the local colleges serving the new rural construction and why? What is the path to the local colleges serving the new rural construction?The paper has five parts. Firstly, analysis of the possibility and necessity of the services, which discusses the functions and the advantages of the local colleges having possibility to serve the new rural construction, and serving the new rural construction is a sacred istorical mission . In this part the author surveys the current situation of three local universities in henan province serving the new rural construction, reveals the existing problems and analyzes the causes of the problems. Fourthly,analysis of the successful case on the local colleges serving the new rural construction. In this part the author selects Ji Shou university as an example, and analies its successful experience. Fively,the strategic thinking on the local colleges serving the new countryside construction . In this part the author thinks optimizing the policy environment, perfecting the operational mechanism, transforming the service concept and probing into the concrete path are important.
