The New Curriculum Reform of Compulsory Education began in Qeshquer Regions in Xinjiang in 2002. It is very important to find the present situation on Chinese composition in minority nationality regions school through the Chinese composition situation of the students in Qeshqer. This thesis mainly references the goals of composition teaching in the junior middle school (the forth stage,7-9 grades) in <>,and examines the present situation on Chinese composition in junior Chinese middle school of Qesquer.The teaching of composition is one of the most important parts in Chinese education, and is also one of the most difficult sections in Chinese teaching. In the survey, we have found that the composition of junior middle school students of Qeshquer Regions generally has such problems as being devoid of content, being poor in language, writing hasty and careless, and the confusion of punctuation marks. We also have discovered that the students lack self-usefulness, have not good habits in doing compositions and lack source material of language. The reasons for the factors are the following:composition teaching is neglected seriously during the teaching process; the teaching notion of all Chinese teachers is old; the composition training is far from the students'realities, and the sections of the composition content are neglected.In order to change "childish" and "non-language" situations in compositions of junior middle school students of Qeshqer Regions, we have studied the following solutions:on the level of managing, the interrelated Chinese educational departments and teaching and researching institutions should pay attention to the composition teaching, establish the notion of "composition is more important than reading", compile composition textbooks to suit local conditions; and should make standard policies of composition examination. On the level of teaching, Chinese teachers should renew the teaching notion, respect students and make the students become the owner of their composition, should arouse the composition motive and interest of students; should pay attention to daily composition, establish the notion of "dairy is more important than composition"; should assign the topic to suit students'reality; should suit the instruction of composition teaching to the students'level; should stress students to accumulate, pay attention to training of Chinese basic ability of students; and should let students criticize their compositions themselves.The teaching of composition is one of the most important parts in Chinese education, and is also one of the most difficult sections in Chinese teaching. For the western minority nationality regions that the software and hardware of elementary education are both weak, the present situation on Chinese composition is especially required more attention in all fields. After having a number of investigations and researches, and studying the modern education theories, the author combines the local real situation, pose views and opinions, and hopes to give some suggestions in the Chinese composition teaching for minority nationality regions. Certainly it is a long time to work hard to change "childish" and "non-language" situations in compositions of junior middle school students of Qeshqer Regions and makes the students'composition abilities reach the goals of the new Curriculum Standard of the forth stage,. Our suggestions can not achieve the goal in one leap, which request to consummate constantly during the course of linking reality further.
