Chinese subject aims at cultivating students’ Language competence of listening,reading,speaking and writing.The first two items help students better understand and master language superficial meaning and implication information,while oral performance and writing expression levels are improved by the other two competences.Composition,as an importance part of writing,needs not only writing expression ability,but also comprehensive ability.However,in the process of Chinese teaching in junior high schools,composition is not emphasized even trained,let alone composition evaluation,which is unfavorable to the improvement of students’ writing ability and the development of Chinese comprehensive ability.So it is a must to make a research on composition evaluation and revision.What’s more,Compulsory Education Chinese Curriculum Standard states that students should revise their own compositions according to expression need to make sentences more accuracy and fluency,combining with language sense and common sense.Besides,they need to share their own compositions with others to exchange views.Basing on the above situations,the current situation of composition evaluation and revision will be analyzed by questionnaire,interview and comment analysis and other methods in this thesis.In addition,some suggestions will be provided to improve students’ composition level and writing skills.The author design the questionnaire and interview outline through the teachers and students’ concept of evaluation;the way to evaluate composition;the comments and the effect of the evaluation.The author also concentrates on the following two aspects,such as targeted,motivational in order to apply the Corpus statistics and analysis to analyze the junior students’ evaluation.And on this basis,the author establish a relatively complete 《Investigation Report of Junior High School Composition》.The questionnaire focuses on the organizational form of the composition evaluation,the students’ cognition of the evaluation,the evaluation function,the content of the evaluation and correction,the focus of the essay comment and the cognition of the subject.What’s more,the author also form the Interview outline which is designed as the composition of the status;the form of evaluation;the teachers’ understanding of the evaluation,the teachers’ actual operation of evaluation and suggestions.After the investigation and analysis of three junior schools in different grades and areas of Shanxi Province,it is found that the evaluation of students’ writing is not paid enough attention.The problem is mainly reflected in the following aspects: the study of composition evaluation is not enough;In the reform,the "teacher’s centralization" is common,and the main subject is single;another question is the teachers’ guidance are lacking,meanwhile,they also lack the necessary following guide and instruction;what’s else,their commentary lack specificity,and are general;At last,the teachers’ comments only point out where there are problems,not help students correct their compositions exactly;and their comments are also lack of "temperature”,which does not reflect the equality and respect for the concept of dialogue.The author believes that we should advocate the three principles of evaluation in the composition evaluation,such as "reasonable","valid" and "appropriate”,what’s more,we also should make the way of correction diversification and guide students to non-written and written changes.For example,we can try "Multi-round interactive" editorial evaluation method,we can also apply the "5W2H" analysis and "SWOT" analysis to the composition evaluation.Moreover,Composition evaluation should be operational and instructive;our teachers should be also as a mentor,our comments should fully reflect the "concept of education" in our writing teaching class.Junior high school students,they understand the ability of things and language skills are in the early maturity.So during this period,our teachers should be a “mentor”.In fact,in junior high school,the composition evaluation is a necessary links which can guide the junior high school students to cultivate the ability of writing by themselves and their habits.Teachers can understand the level of composition of students through the composition evaluation;can find the lack of composition teaching,which can make their teaching more targeted.In addition,we should advocate students to peer revision actively,which not only can increase the students’ knowledge so that they can be used to the future writing,but also teachers can update their own teaching research in the composition of the guide and then focus on the typical problems in their writing teaching.
