China has a special tradition of respecting etiquette and ethics. As the basic social moral rules , amenity plays a role of beautiful expression of mutual good wishes and emotional ties in people's social life. Etiquette not only can show the degree of civilization of a country, more importantly, it can promote social harmony.In recent years, with the development of higher education, the development of higher vocational colleges is more quick, the number of vocational students in school accounted for more than half the number of college students. Students in the higher vocational colleges as an important part , their etiquette training directly affect the overall quality of college students, and then influence the construction of socialist spiritual civilization. However, the extremely practical training objectives of higher vocational colleges led to ignore their students'the all-round development of overall quality including etiquette. In particular , the uncivilized and unfaithful behavior of some vocational students should arouse our great concern. In 2006, in the"Two Conferences", Fuchun Si member appealed to us , aiming at college students'unmoral, unknown and impolite behaviors: strengthening the students'etiquette education which is not be delayed. Therefore, the college students'etiquette education should be taken seriously by us.How is the whole manner of vocational students? How about the present situation of etiquette education for vocational students? What elements effect on vocational students'manners? In what ways should Etiquette education be taught for vocational students? For this purpose, this study conducts the research , combined the use of questionnaires, interviews, documents, observation and other research methods. The thesis is divided into four chapters.Introduction will be the first chapter, which mainly explained the background of study, the purpose and significance of research, review of relevant research in this field, the definition of basic concepts and methods used in this study.Chapter II talks about the etiquette survey results of the vocational students. From the situation which is reflected by the questionnaire survey and interviews , it shows that the overall manner status of vocational students goes poor. Mainly including the following factors: relatively low awareness of the etiquette, the poverty of relevant knowledge; badness of daily manners; In terms of complying with the most basic norms of civilized etiquette , there is the phenomenon of separation of knowledge and action. From the questionnaires and interviews , what is reflected is the deficiency of school etiquette education. Main features: lack of etiquette education courses aimed at most of the vocational students; The teachers and related personnel do not attach importance to etiquette education in terms of vocational education; There is little for the launch of the effective civilized ritual activities in the higher vocational colleges. Meanwhile, vocational students are required strictly in etiquette education, which also revealed in the questionnaire survey and interviews.Chapterâ…¢revealed the cause analysis which influence the etiquette survey of the vocational students. Education is a complex problem which produced a few reasons for the etiquette survey of the vocational students. Vocational students'own psychological factors, improper way of family education, neglect of etiquette education in schools, and all impacts from society is the reasons that caused the poor etiquette status of vocational students.Chapter IV offered some opinions for the measures of highlighting the vocational students'etiquette education. According to the survey results above, etiquette education of vocational students must carry forward the tradition, Family education should play the role in etiquette education; Optimizing the environment, creating a good school atmosphere; Constructing a harmonious social environment, playing a complementary role of social education. Higher vocational students'etiquette education must rely on family, school, community to work together for the practical results.All in all, Protocol education is indispensable to the growth and improvement of individual student. It is important for Protocol education to cultivate the civilized and polite, moral, and noble high-quality talents. Furthermore, vocational students'etiquette education is a complex issue. It will inevitably be difficult to have comprehensive and systematic research. In this study, the researcher only opened a corner of this field. Because of the author's level limitation, this paper can not be described comprehensively and thoroughly, no matter in terms of the theoretical system or the specific issues, the researcher still work on the subject of the etiquette education in further depth in future.
