Discussing On Aging Problem In Xinjiang And Strategic Study

The aging problem is also becoming more and more obvious in Xinjiang.According to international standards,a country has stepped into an aging society when its old population gets a proportion of 10 percent in total population.At present,the population of the old above 60 has got 212.63 million in Xinjiang,which gets a proportion of 9.81 percent in the whole population.Xinjiang will step into aging society this year according to this rate.Aging problem will take effects on social economy problems in lots of ways. For example,lacking of labors,decreeing in productive efficiency,dropping in saving amount.What is worse,it will then lessen capital's forming,affecting trade and invest.As a result,the proportion of pension will be higher;expenses on medical treatment and health care will be more,which will exert large pressure on finance.In two or three decades,the aging problem will be annoyed in Xinjiang.Till middle of this century,the population of the old will reach one third of its total's and Xinjiang will of course be an area affected badly by the aging problem.This paper analyzes mainly aging problem in Xingjian,attaching importance on its specialty,and then finds out relative factors to predict aging situation in ten years.Based on that study,this paper will analyze what influence that aging problem will have on social economy.At the end of this paper,some suggestions of the author will be presented.
