Trend Of Population Aging And Pension Research In Shanxi Province

The proportion of age over 65 in the total population had exceed 7% to 7.1%, in 2003, Shanxi Province, officially entered the aging society. To2009, the proportion had come up to 8.08%, population aging rate of further speed,9 years old population growth of 1.75%, and due to the economic and social two impact incidence, population aging under the Shanxi shows the trend of rapid development. This trend will major effect economic and social development of Shanxi Province. In this paper, Author by in-depth analysis the population age structure, sex structure, dependency ratio, in order to look into the current demographic situation. And in view of population policy may change, Author predict the population structure development of Shanxi in the future. Based on the Predicted results and economic development level, Author believe that accelerate establish the aging population protection system, concerned about the spiritual needs of the elderly population, slowing the rate of aging are effective way to deal with population aging response.Population size and distribution are historical process; he was impacted by double natural and social environment, in the first part of this article the Author introduction the natural conditions and the population status changes in historical and the population aging research about Shanxi. As different disciplines of population aging have different perspectives, so in the second part of the article author defines the concept of population aging and distinguishes between population aging and population aging in different, then analyzes the reasons who caused population aging. The third part Author researched the natural structure of the population of Shanxi, including the sex structure of population, age structure and social dependency ratio. Because, despite aging population caused by a variety of reasons, but ultimately the population natural structure affected the population development, while dynamic population structure is historical process, future population aging affected by current population structure. Therefore, this part researched the population status and forecasted the future of the Shanxi population structure, further revealing of population aging resulting the severe situation. Part four Facing severe situation of the aging population Shanxi Province are still not sufficient to support the huge social pension burden, Author believe that Shanxi have to adjust the conditions of the population policy, through gradual relaxation the reproductive policy in order to reduce aging process. At the same time although the pace of population aging can be slowed down but as a social development trend, only by accelerate the improvement of the social security system in response to the population aging is the fundamental policy. Author point of view that responsibility from the government of the perfect way to build up old-age security system. Moreover, with the Social Security systems gradually improved well and the protection level gradually increase, old-age quest gradually shift to the spirit, so we should give full attention to the spiritual needs of the elderly population.The current population aging research has splendid sight, but specifically the trend of population aging rare about Shanxi, and their results are more concentrated in the static field of population aging, dynamic research very little. And population studies of data-dependent, when the population data selected different, the results of population projections will be very different. The paper adopt 2000 "census" data, combined with the previous research results, and in accordance with the latest information after 2007 be amended, the aging trend of Shanxi Province made a prediction. In addition, my point of view of accountability from the government Social Security system was established, and spiritual needs of the elderly population concern is innovation of this paper.
