The 21st century is the information economy age characterized by the innovation and application of knowledge. As the society developing, there are some new standards and more requests for the talents'qualities and abilities. Facing the challenges and opportunities brought by information economy, various countries do the research of the information-based physical education in colleges in order to improve the country's comprehensive strength and competitiveness, as well as foster people's information quality. At the tidal current of physical education revolution and informafization throughout the whole world, developed countries have put great emphasis on the application of information technology in Physical Education. The vigorous development of this phenomenon as the key point of promoting the revolution and informafization of college's physical education. Chinese government invested a lot of money and human resource to start the project of information-based physical education in colleges, in which bring new curriculum reform and information technical education into the effect. At present, how to use information technology effectively in Physical Education has become the key point of restrict the further development of information-based Physical Education. In this study, the United States is the world's earliest and best country to use information technology in education, so the author will learn and analyze the Research and Practice of Information-based American Physical Education. The comparative research on the application of information-based physical education in China and that in America is beneficial for us to envied our eyeshot and promote the development of physical education in our country by leaps and bounds.This study used the method of literature review, expert interviews, comparative study and logical analysis, in order to collect and coordinate the information of the United States in application of information technology in Physical Education. It compare Information Technology used in Physical Education in all aspects of the similarities and differences in America with those in China, then analyzed information-based physical education in two countries to help Information Technology Application in Physical Education and the development of Physical Education reform in China.This thesis specifically include the following parts:The first part is introduction. Describes the research purpose, significance and innovation of the topic, as well as the research methodology used in this thesis.The second part is the literature review section. Summarize the current situation and problems of information technology applications in physical education in two countries, and demonstrated the study's theoretical and practical significance.The third, fourth, fifth part is the comparison of impact of the Sino-US Information Technology Application in Physical Education. The third part is the Information Technology Application in Physical Education in USA, the fourth part is the Information Technology Application in Physical Education in China, and the fifth part is comparative analysis of information technology in college Application of Physical Education in China and in the USA.The sixth part is talks about how to use the experience of Information Technology Application in Physical Education in USA for reference.The seventh part is the conclusion of this study, the author will give you some suggestions on how to use Information Technology in Physical Education in Chinese colleges, through the comparative analysis of those in both countries.The thesis systematically made a series of comparison of Information Technology Application in Physical Education in U.S . and in China. At the same time, the author would share some unique opinions in the similarities and differences of the current situation of information-based education in both countries.
