Teachers'psychological health is closely related to students'healthy growth in both body and mind, teachers'individual health and quality of school education. Therefore, the study of teachers'psychological health is of important significance in both theory and reality. Since 1970's, countries abroad have made special studies on teachers'problems, such as occupational stress and job burnout, etc. The study shows that the occupational stress is a vital factor resulting in teachers'emotional instability and psychological diseases, such as irrational depress, worry, irritation, disappointment, lacking a sense of security, losing heart for work, feeling exhausted and being bewildered for life, etc.This paper is to make a further analysis on the state and causing factors of middle school teachers'psychological health through statistical analysis method, and puts forward the corresponding adjusting strategies. The last part of paper gives the significance of study on middle school teachers'psychological health. The paper consists of four parts:Part I gives a summarization introduction for the state of psychological teachers'psychological health studied by former scholars in five aspects: teachers'psychological health criteria, investigation on teachers'psychological state, sorts of Chinese middle school teachers'psychological health problems, intervention of teachers'psychological health and study methods of teachers'psychological health, and points out those studies'strengths and weaknesses.Part II gives a test on middle school teachers in the aspects of age, educational background and sex through SCL-90 scale, makes an analysis on test results and finds out the relevant reasons for causing each kind of result.Part III points out from a general point of view that the psychological health problems of middle school teachers in this age are mainly caused by an unfair assessment system, challenges brought by the educational reform, teachers'occupational features and other external factors, as well as teachers'low individual qualities, individual character's restrictions, psychological conflicts and other internal factors, based on the former statistical analysis result.Part IV points out the corresponding adjusting strategies for psychological health problems of middle school teachers in this age which mainly include forming the atmosphere of respecting teacher and his teaching in the whole society, strengthening the self maintenance of teachers'psychological health, enhancing teachers'integrity for being a teacher, establishing a good relationship between teachers and students, actively attending continuing education, making a career plan, forming correct value concepts and creating a relaxed psychological environment, etc.
