Moral education, also called political thought and moral character education, is to teach students politics and moral. The important symbol of modern education lies in overstressing knowledge itself. However, any knowledge or technique teaching always combines with ideological and moral education. Moral education uses knowledge as vehicle, showing the unity between knowledge and moral, teaching and education. Moral education with knowledge as vehicle has great convince and fascination. It can deeply influence students, forming great inner power.The new curriculum standard attachs an importance to moral education. The purpose of it is to teach students patriotism, collectivism, loving socialism, carrying on socialism legal system, observing national law and social moral; gradually forming right outlook on world, life and value; having social responsibility, making efforts to serve the people and to make the students a new generation with ideal, moral, culture and discipline. An overall development student should master abundant knowledge and high character. This is the starting point of the modern teaching theory---taking people as essential being.Mathematics is a major subject of middle school. Moral education penetrated in mathematics teaching is to serve and educate qualified students. We will not only show its science value, applied value, art value in teaching mathematics, but also we should realize its importance in its mental. We can experience good quality of mathematics. We can say it is the complement and continuation of school moral education. At present, there are a lot of theories about moral education. I have consulted them, but it is still not enough. Although many middle schools in our country have made their own brands, they still lack some parts. In the author's opinion, moral education penetrated in mathematics teaching should be carried out in the present study. We should combine theory with the fact, follow the operational and effective principle, and obey the law of teaching. We should also take students'ages into consideration and strengthen circumstance feeling. Besides, we should enable students to love our country, have ambitious aims, standardize their behaviors and improve their basic quality.According to the current problems of the moral education, the paper deeply finds out the advantages of moral education. From the analysis of the present situation of moral education and the meaning of mathematics penetrated into moral education, the paper describes the content of moral education in mathematics teaching and puts forward the principle and approaches. It attempts to make a breakthrough in finding out the method of moral education in mathematics teaching and find a solution to achieve the moral goals in mathematics teaching.
