Chemistry is a subject based on experiments, which play an extremely important role in cultivating students'mode of thinking, developing their learning habits and forming abilities on learning and practising. Chemical experiments have become an implement idea in the teaching practice. During these years when the Standard of New Curriculum is brought into practice, various changes have occurred in the compilation of textbooks, the design of curriculum, teaching practice and many other aspects, meanwhile there are a variety of experimental reforms. The content of the chemistry textbook for Junior students is scientific, well organized and the design of experiments aims at being simple and easy to observe. While the chemistry teaching in senior high schools is based on the nine-year compulsory education system, which proceeds relatively high level teaching and implement the policy of all-round development, focusing on improving students'inner quality.Compared with the textbooks used in Junior high school, Senior high school textbooks have enhanced the degrees of theoretic understanding, the depth of the contents and difficulty to a much higher level, the demands and contents of the experiment are also raised to a relatively higher standard. However, the present chemistry experiment teaching is still at the stage where the class is teacher-oriented, students are not able to really get involved in the experiments. Thus, the problem that when students are learning experiments,both the teachers and the students fail to make full use of the acquired knowledge to learn more advanced and absract things comes up. Consequently, it is obviously important to be consistent in teaching chemistry experiments. The following survey deals with the consistency of the teaching of Junior and Senior chemistry experiments in the Standard of New Curriculum. It analyzes and compares the contents of Junior and Senior chemistry experiments in the Standard of New Curriculum, searching for the parts which can be used as the fundamental points to present new knowledge, expounds the new characteristics of designing chemistry experiments in the new curriculum. This survey aims at putting forward several constructive suggestions on how to combine the knowledge about chemistry experiments in the new curriculum in junior and senior schools effectively , providing some reference for teachers of chemistry and trying to explore the effective methods of cultivating and improving students'scientific quality and spirit, therefore creating a new generation with creativity and scientific qualities and social and cultural qualities for the society.The subject of this research is the students in Senior One who are in one of the top senior high schools in Huhhot. Such research methods are applied, for example, the methods of compression, the method of investigating and studying, the experience-summarizing etc. The contents are divided into four parts: Part One sums up the present situation and short points in the combine the knowledge about chemistry experiments in the new curriculum in junior and senior schools; Part Two:By analyzing the new curriculum, make a contrast about the concept and teaching demands of teaching chemistry experiments in the new curriculum; Part Three: Using questionaires, carry out a survey in which some of the teachers and students are asked about combining the knowledge about chemistry experiments in junior and senior schools, compare the results of the questionnaires and come up with the idea that we should change the former practices and try to develop students'exploring ability, lead the students to form good chemistry learning habits and promote their progress. Hence figuring out the strategies for combining the knowledge about chemistry experiments in junior and senior in the new curriculum.Meanwhile , it makes several suggestions on combining the knowledge about chemistry experiments in junior and senior in the new curriculum in the teaching practice, which is followed by implementing in the concrete teaching practice. In the conclusion part, the situation of this research is summed up, and look ahead about continous work in the future.
