Reading is extremely important language teaching course, traditional Chinese language teaching are based reading instruction as a guide. The modern concept of reading that in a general sense of reading is to collect process information, understanding of the world, the development of thinking, was an important way of aesthetic experience. Traditional teaching of reading is to focus the guidance of teachers, coaching, inspiration, and curriculum standards in reading on the objectives of modern language teaching in the concept has changed greatly. I and many language teachers are in favor of the new curriculum standards to emphasize"reading instruction for students, teachers, the process of dialogue between the text."Therefore, language teachers teaching in practice need to change the traditional teaching concepts, and even change the role of reading in the language classroom and actively explore effective teaching strategies, in the true sense of the reading ability students.In theory, this thesis of a secondary language reading instruction in whole language teaching the importance and necessity of exploring the effective secondary language teaching of reading strategies to try in practice to the forefront of teaching reading, language teachers have a clear macro- understanding, grasp the key role of the reading activities of some high-energy factor, to correct deviations reading knowledge of various teaching activities,changes in reading instruction in the chaos,confusion, mixed situation.The main content of this thesis can be summarized as the following three aspects:language reading instruction in middle school language teaching in the importance and necessity, and studied at home and abroad for the study of Chinese reading profile;point out that the teaching of reading in secondary language reality, and analysis on the effectiveness of secondary language reading lesson objective and subjective reasons; clear teaching of reading to improve the effectiveness of secondary language theory to explore the basic principles of effective teaching of reading and the corresponding teaching strategies.
