Emotional education as an important part of the education system, can perfect humanity, develop individual subjectivity and mining the meaning of life. Emotional education guides students to establish appropriate relationship with others and the society and even themselves, so that the students can aquire temperament and interest from emotional education and form a positive life attitude, which promotes the college students socialization and the development of social productive forces viewing from the social value. To the above analysis, emotional education in university education should have a special role. As college students are a main new force on the society construction and development, their emotional status is vital to their own study and daily life and even to the social development. Currently, our society is in a reforming period. With the further development of the socialist market economic structure with the Chinese characteristics, with the impact of the globalizing economy and the diverse ideological, for the college students, the social competition intensifies, the ideological and life concepts and values change, the pressure of academy, unemployment, society and love increases significantly. The interpersonal relationship between college students becomes tenser. They are lack of compassion for the weakers and their psychological power is weak. Realistically speaking, because of the one-sided understanding of the value of college education, throughout the university stage, college education often one-sided emphases on intellectual education but neglects the emotional health education. The students experience ability decreases, and their emotion become disorder, cold and lone. For the comprehensive development of students emotion, the emotional education is an important part of college students education, which includes fostering emotional cognition, regulation and exchange ability of the college students and is to help students to understand, experience, regulate and settle the emotion. In recent years, although scholars pay a lot of enthusiasm and energy, the emotional education still have many problems. The emotion life of college students has been desertificating. Considering the emotion status and its courses in the reforming period, here we analyze the essential courses of the emotion problems of the college students and the problems of emotional education. Here we investigate ways to improve the college student emotional cognition, regulation and interaction skills, to enhance the students emotional literacy and to promote the students comprehensive development.This thesis includes four sections:Part I mainly introduces the emotion problems and the courses of Chinese college students during the educational system reforming period. Under the reforming background, college student emotional problems mainly are:ignorance of life, lack of gratitude and indifference of personal relationship. We analyse the causes of these problems mainly from the affection of social environment, the impact of adverse literacy, the virtualization of communication caused by vitual internet, alienated feelings and lack of emotional education both in colleges and families.Partâ…¡mainly elaborates the meaning, theoretical basis, content and features of the emotional education. The concept of college students emotional education can be described as:according to students individual emotional needs, by purposeful and designed educational activities, educators guide and help students to establish the correct views of life, value and world, to improve the aesthetic judgment and aesthetic sense, to increase emotional knowledge, to enhance emotional expression, regulation and interactive abilities, so that the college students can order their emotion, form a sound personality and promote themselves full development. The college student emotional education is based on the Marxist humanist philosophy, Maslow's hierarchy of needs and the teachers and students equality theory. And Marxist humanist philosophy is the theoretical foundation. The emotional education content includes: social emotions such as the sense of intellectualism, mroal and aesthetics; moral emotions consistent with modern society; rational methods dealing with the actual emotional problems; common emotional experience with others and the society; correct understanding of emotion, appropriate value attitude, noble aesthetics temperament and interests, reasonable emotional needs. As the guiding, driving and flexibility features college student emotional education, we should obey the following principles when implement emotional education:building a reasonable emotional education content system; taking emotion experience as basis, self-control education as the core and interactive education as the key.Part III mainly elaborates the deficiency of contemporary Chinese college students emotional education and the focal points and principles of actual emotional education. Currently, college students emotional education has a lot of deficiencies.For example, the emotional education lacks of integrity and systematicness, the emotional education contents are simplified and the emotional education methods are normalized. We propose to cultivate emotion with emotion, to take needs as the core, to take understanding as the basis, to promote emotion experience and to sublimate emotion with aesthetic education. So the focal point of emotional education should be the emotional experience education. Only personally experience emotion can college students feel the reality of emotion and cognize emotion better, and then enhance the aesthetic ability and interest.In partâ…£, we inverstigated the methods to promote the college students emotional education. Strengthening the emotional education is a system project, which needs the forces and resources of the whole society to construct the school, family and social participating "Trinity" emotional education system. Only these three aspects fully worked in close cooperation can form a strongly emotional education power. We propose the methods bellow to execute the collges student emotional education:strengthening the emotional management during students managing work, cultivating emotion with the educators love and personality charm, creating a delicate social environment for campus emotional education, setting up a special emotional education course, and emphasizing experience and promotion of emotion; developing the power of family for college students emotional education; finding a reasonable method to use available social resources and hold emotional education in social life through colorful practice activities to promote emotional education.
