Teachers are the backbone and the main force of Project-based Curriculum Development and Implementation, whose capacity plays a decisive role on its effects. What capacity the teachers need in Project-based Curriculum Development and Implementation, as well as what the situation of teacher capacity is, both are the priority of this research. The methods of literature analysis and questionnaire survey are applied to collect information and make analysis.The dissertation composed of six chapters:Chapter One is the Introduction. It describes the background of the thesis, related concepts definition, literature analysis, and research program, etc.Chapter Two discusses the demand teacher capacity in Project-based Curriculum Development and Implementation. The Project-based Curriculum Development and Implementation stages, which are capacity of market demands research, course structure analysis capacity, capacity of professional curriculum standards compilation, project design capacity, capacity of project-based curriculum teaching resources development, project implementation capacity, call teachers for substantial tasks, from which teacher capacity is analysised.Chapter Three is the analysis on situation of Secondary Vocational School teachers'capacity in Project-based Curriculum Development and Implementation. By using the method of questionnaire survey, the situation of capacity and reasons are fixed.Chapter Four talks about improving suggestions on teacher capacity in Project-based Curriculum Development and Implementation, from the perspective of teachers themselves and Secondary Vocational Schools.In conclusion, Secondary Vocational School teachers are competent to afford Project-based Curriculum Development and Implementation. However, capacity in different stages is unbalanced, in other words, project implementation capacity is the strongest of all, while Project-based Curriculum Development capacity, especially capacity of research about market demands, project design capacity and course structure analysis capacity are weaker than other stage capacity. Therefore, the dissertation suggests that teachers themselves must make efforts to improve their capacity, by practicing, collaborating and studying. And Vocational Schools must provide supportment on system, culture and training as well.
